Food and Nutrition Services

To see if your student qualifies for a meal benefit we invite you to:

Monroe County Food Service Department supports the District's mission by providing healthy, nutritious meals for students.  By serving HEALTHY MEALS, we help support HEALTHY MINDS in academic growth and assist in empowering students to become responsible and contributing global citizens.

Important Notice:
Every year a family meal application is required.  If a family receives SNAP, TANF, CHIPS, or if a student is enrolled in Head Start, an application is not required.
Beginning August 11, applications will be available online at https://frapps.horizonsolana.com/MONC02.
With school beginning on August 16, students with benefits in 2016-2017 will have a grace period of 30 days to apply online for the 2017-2018 school year.  After September 27, that grace period ends and students without an approved application on file will be required to pay full price for meals until an application is received and processed.
